Operating Systems (OS),  have developed and seen a lot progress in the last 2  decades, and how it has revolutionized this 21st century, although the Android Operating Systems (OS) has taken up the smart phone market with it's increasing demands year by year.
  But have we ever asked how came this revolution in the smart phone world,  it was an idea of one man coupled with efforts and hard work, that has brought us this far and has created jobs, inventions, income etc, to this planet earth, but before we proceed, how came this idea?
 

HOW DID ANDROID CAME ABOUT?


Android Inc was founded in Palo Alto of California, United States of America, by Andy Rubin, Rich miner , Nick sears and Chris White in the year 2003.
It was later developed by the Android Inc,  supported by Google.  Google later bought the company for an undisclosed fee believed to be around 50 million dollars.

 

WHY WAS IT DEVELOPED ?


The Android Operating System, was Initially developed as a platform for digital cameras, but the idea of its vast usage and
potentials, it's developers changed their focus to the smart phones.

WHEN WAS IT FIRST LAUNCHED.


Google first launched the Android Operating System on 5th November, 2007, which is a Linux base software.  The HTC Dream or T-Mobile G1, we're the first ever smart phones to run the Android Operating System, and this smart phone was released in the year 2008.



DOMINANCE.


the Android Operating System has dominated the smart phone market,  beating close rivals Apple and Microsoft. Android Operating Systems has recorded over one billion Activations on smart phones and Tablets globally, and the number to rise in the nearest future.
