How to delete multiple emails at once on your mail box, is a task that is very complicated, example like the picture below,

if you are one of those people who do neglect reading emails in your inbox and do not delete unwanted mails frequently, or must have subscribed to too many email feeds channels, then this article is solely designed for you.

Let's use gmail as our case study,

Please note: This steps and examples is for only email box on android and not on the web or internet, so for this to work as you follow our step to step guide, you need to have an android device, with an android version of 2.0 + and that is registered with your own Google account or you can add your email account on a friends android phone.
If you don't know how to add an email account to an android device, click here.

Please note: you must have a data enabled phone or you connect to a WiFi network to reduce network providers charges.

When you are done with the above steps, just go to the gmail app on the phone, but if you don't have it on the phone, then you just visit Google play store to download the app, when you finish downloading the app, just launch it and you will be brought to this home screen.

After you have been brought to the email box screen, then you have to click on the menu icon, on the top left corner of the home screen, to choose which email box you want to delete.

After that, you do select emails you will like to delete by clicking on the alphabets in capital letters in the coloured box, because if you do click on the mail it self the mail will be opened.

However, after you have selected the email of your choice, then look up at the top of the screen, you will see the delete icon at the middle of the tabs, click on it and the email will be deleted immediately.
Now you seen how stressful it can be, to delete emails manually.

Deleting multiply emails at once, would be something you do need an additional app, because the gmail app does not have that function.
Now this is where the whole story lies, you need to download an additional app called "Bluemail", you can search and also download it for free on the Google play store.

After you have finished downloading it, then launch it you will be asked to log in, just log into your gmail account, after the process is complete then it will load or synchronize all your emails, when doing this it will take a few seconds depending on the number of mails in your inbox, after the process is done you will be brought to this screen.

Please note: with bluemail app you can add multiple email accounts, i.e more than one account, like yahoo mail, gmail etc.

Click on the menu icon at the top left corner of the screen, and you will see tabs like this will appear.

Select your preferred choice, either the spam, trash, draft, sent or any other tabs, but in our example will be using the inbox tab.

After selecting any tab of your choice, then you would have click at the three doted icon on the top right corner of the screen, and a drop down button like this will appear on screen

Then you will select the "multi edit" tab and this screen will appear.

After that, look carefully at the top right corner of the screen and you will see a "mark all" tab, click on it to mark all messages, but if you don't want to delete all emails in you mail box, just manually click on the mails you will like to retain at the extreme left blue icon to unmark it, like this.

When marking all, the app will only mark the emails that have already loaded, so if you want to definitely mark all, just continue reloading the mail screen, until you all mails are completely finished.

After you are done with that, look carefully at the bottom of the screen, you will see a delete icon at the middle of other listed icons, click on it and all selected emails will be deleted.

Note: To verify if the process worked successfully, wait for like about a minute after, then you can visit your gmail account or gmail app on your phone to confirm.

You can repeat the above steps on any email account you want to delete its email box, but note that any email deleted can never be retrieved back.
